Save the Date!

Monthly meetups are on the last Friday of the month (5:30 pm sharp) at Shoot Straight in Fort Lauderdale.

It's good to practice, but it's also great to practice with your friends. We meet once a month at the range to shoot, learn, and build friendship and camaraderie.

Bring your significant other and make it a date night! Couples who are looking for something a little more unique, a lot more interactive, and a whole bunch more fun should head to the range for a date night with us! The total range costs about $50 per couple if you do not have your own firearm and ammo.

Don't be late! We meet at 5:30 p.m. because the range closes at 6:30 p.m. sharp!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Whether you’re a long-time gun user or you’re looking to try shooting for the first time, we’re aiming to create a safe and positive experience for you and your date. Here are a few things our couples can expect:

Participate in a safety briefing.
Fill out a waiver form. Shooting is an incredibly enjoyable activity, and it should also be an incredibly safe activity. Always follow the safety rules and be mindful of your surroundings at all times. If you’re following the correct protocols, there’s no reason why you won’t have an exciting, enjoyable, and overall safe experience.
Make sure all firearms (if you bring your own) are cased and unloaded.
Get safety gear (eye and ear protection) and lane assignments. Start shooting.

WHAT TO BRING

As with any date night, you don’t want to need something only to realize you don’t have it. That's a major potential for your plans to misfire. So here are some things to remember when you’re heading to the shooting range:
Proper attire (The dress code for shooting is “casual.” Don’t shoot in something that could get ruined or that could put someone in danger.)
Valid ID or your yellow Shoot Straight card (you’ll need photo identification to be able to participate in gun-range activities) Approved firearms and ammunition (or if available, you can rent firearms from the range and purchase ammo!)
Eye and ear protection, if you have your own.
A positive attitude.
